About me

Welcome! I'm Megan. I am a trained pastry chef, holding a degree in bakery and pastry from El Centro College. While in school, I honed my decorating skills working in an Uptown Dallas cupcakery. Following my graduation, I had the opportunity to train under one of Dallas' best pastry chefs while working at Craft Dallas at the W Hotel. Working at Craft gave me the appreciation of working with the freshest, seasonal ingredients to create classic desserts. Dough Bakeshop makes everything in house and I pride myself in using high quality ingredients to create an exceptional product. I love being in the kitchen and enjoy the creative outlet that decorating provides, while I stay at home with my two crazy, fun-loving boys.
